  • Time For Secession

At first I was too enraged to speak in my usual fashion, and was considering pulling out all the stops for this rant, and I do mean all, but the fact is I have an image to maintain.

It looks like Romney has won the popular vote, but Barack Osama has won the election, so while I cannot definitively say that we have become a minority in our own country, I can say beyond any shadow of a doubt that we have lost our country.  We have lost our country to seditious globalist/internationalist forces which are hell bent on making America weak and erasing us from existence.  Now that they have won, they will pull out all of the stops, and like the “Party” of George Orwell’s 1984 they will do whatever can to ensure their permanence.  It won’t be hard for them, because the Democrats already did a good deal of damage under Obama.

As I said before, we have been targetted by dysgenics.  This is most likely the last time our people will ever win the popular vote.  The Democrats will flood this country with so much immigration that we will not be able to win the popular vote any more than Michelle Obama could win a beauty contest.  Let’s face it.  It’s over.  The only point on our even going to the polls in the next election will be to make a statement of principle, because there will be no chance of us winning.  I did not watch coverage of the whole process, but during the time I did watch I heard them say “changing demographics” twice.  That’s it.  That’s all it takes, and that is all they need.  We are done for.

Now we patriotic/true Americans have to watch as the internationalists tear down our country for another four years, and so on and so forth.  It’s disgusting, and it will be painful for us to watch.  Things will get worse, and the liberals will continue to blame us for the problems that their leaders have created.

I was hopeful that Romney would win, but I was afraid he would not, and as it turns out my fears were true.  I was hoping for a better economy, for cheaper gas, for cheaper food, for a lower cost of living, for that damn travesty known as Obamacare to go.  I was hoping that the business I was working for would expand so that I could eventually get a raise.  But no.  Now none of that will happen now.  There will be no raise, my cost of living will go up, and I will be lucky if my business survives.  I am probably never going to get INTO the middle class unless one of my gimmicks pays off.   And this man Obama has the gall to call himself the champion of the middle class? Lying bastard.  The quality of medical treatment will certainly go down, the maximum age at which you are eligible to recieve coverage will certainly go down, the sort of care we can receive will be decided by a handful of asshats in Washington.  We can expect to see an increased crackdown on alternative medical treatments.

Also, no one is going to stop the drones Obama is launching over our country.  There is only one hope for us…

Secession.  That’s right, it’s time to secede.  I don’t see why a bunch of manjinas up north should get to decide my fate.  I would rather be governed by my own people than these aliens.  Look at this map:

    Electorial map

I don’t want my fate being decided by another people group which does not share my values or beliefs, and which is out to destroy my way of life.  In terms of both geographic area and population (popular vote), most of the country wanted Romney over Obummer, yet again we have Obummer. The only bright spot in this dark night of failure, defeat, and subjugation is that the three states which I have called home had the sense to vote against Obama (Missouri, Texas, and Georgia).

Forget about the elections, it’s time to fight the Democrats at the state level. The national election is going to be irrelevant from now on.  We will most likely never again win a national election because the Democrats will fill the country with people who see themselves as being in opposition to us.   At the state level we can vote for people who will stand up to Obama and all those other communist traitors, and yes, we have to be prepared to die for our freedom.

    dixie

It’s time to cast off the yoke of Washington and become a free country. Let the liberals have their damn states up in the northeast and west coast. They can have as much sodomy, abortion, animal humping, and communism, spy drones, internet surveillance, and tracking microchips as they want. Then when they realize the nightmare they created and want out we will close the doors to them, just like we will close the doors to the Muslims and to immigration from Mexico.

Our only chance for freedom and self determination is secession.

Oh, one more thing.  It looks like the hurrican Sandy went exactly where it was supposed to go:

  • @NightCometh - Thanks.  If I weren’t already engaged then I would take you up on that.

  • “The Democrats will flood this country with so much immigration that we
will not be able to win the popular vote any more than Michelle Obama
    could win a beauty contest.”

When bush won twice I was sad.  I wasn’t a bitter, racist asshole.

  • @agnophilo - Bush winning does not adversely affedt your life, whereas Obama winning means my cost of living goes up, my chance for a raise goes down, I might lose my job, and I can’t get back into my field.  My guess is that I’m at least 10 years older than you, and I’m trying to build a life for myself, but your man Obama is hellbent on keeping me down in the lower class category.  How can I not take it personally?  Why should your states get to set rules for my states?  We are separate peoples.  It’s time for us to go our separate ways.

People are out to destroy my way of life, my freedom, and my independence.  That stuff is personal.

  • For the record, Obama won the popular vote. Just saying.

  • @TrekkieECH - Last time I checked he was behind, but if that’s the case then it means we have become a minority in our own country.  Time for secession.

  • Yeppers. We need to start thinking long and hard on the 10th amendment “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

And thinking long and hard about repealing the 17th amendment: “The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.

When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct.

This amendment shall not be so construed as to affect the election or term of any Senator chosen before it becomes valid as part of the Constitution.

Look at the red and the blue and see who’s supporting who. Two words: Rural, Urban.

  • We need to think long and hard about raising the voting age to 30, using the state legislatures.  And maybe taxing cities with a special urban poll tax.

  • @agnophilo - You’re bitter whoever is in office.

  • @Kellsbella - Agreed, but what I want is a complete break with Washington.  Why should it be up to the manjinas in the northeast coast and west coast to choose rulers over us?  Now our country will be permanently crippled, but if we get rid of Washington then we can get rid of all it’s laws.

Right, I saw some of the maps by county, and that’s pretty much the size of it.

  • @soccerdadforlife - I would have no problem with that.  We might also make ownership of property a requisite.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - I know Texas has toyed with secession. Shall we all move there? It has a whorehouse in it.

I tell you, he must stop acting as a dictator and abide by the rules of law (aka, the Constitution)

We are in our constitutional rights to secede, and it may very well come to that. But I doubt it. Too many people asleep at the wheel. If you know what I mean, and I think that you do.

@soccerdadforlife - Daddy, I’ve met plenty of 30-year-olds who are in the dark. It is a bit of a conundrum.

  • Please do secede. Your Dixieland states are the one draining our country from our money in the first place. You want to talk about fighting socialism, how about getting your states to stop sucking the money from the blue states that are contributing more than they are taking?

Oh, and sinking to racism and personal attacks on the first lady? What are we, eight years old? Grow up. Minorities have every right to vote that you do. So yes, please secede, since you think that the Confederate States and their pro-slavery agenda was so friggin’ wonderful.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - @TrekkieECH -

As of 2:41pm, CST CNN reports: Obama 60,343,205 (50%); Romney 57,556,021 (48%)As of 2:41pm, CST, New York Times reports: Obama 60,340,293; Romney 57,552,775The BBC, along with the AP, reports Obama 60,340,293 (50.4%); Romney 57,552, 775 (48.1%)Finally, Fox reports: 60,347,379 for President Obama; 57,560,214 for Governor Romney.
Roughly a 2 point advantage for the incumbent President.
@soccerdadforlife - So, basically, you’re advocating rolling back universal suffrage based on an election outcome you didn’t like. Tell me how that isn’t advocating tyranny, impinging on freedoms, and is in any way constitutional? Or, for that matter, in keeping with the sentiments found in the Declaration of Independence?

  • @GodlessLiberal - Did I hurt your feelings?  We didn’t ask for any of your damn money, and anyways the biggest welfare states are all liberal states.

Being called a racist by a liberal is meaningless, in fact it’s more of a compliment when it comes from you.  But just for the sake of argument, let me see you back your accusations against me.  The fact that I have a Confederate flag and don’t like you isn’t evidence.

  • @cmdr_keen - So basically we have become a minority in our own country.  When the next election comes we will be an even smaller minority, and the US will belong to Democrats until either breaks apart or is subsumed by a world dictatorship.

  • @Kellsbella - If Texas secedes I’m going there.  Another thing I’m considering is leaving the country to work in the far east, and then retiring either Latin America or India.

I don’t think Obummer will ever stop acting as a dicator.  He has a Nebuchadnezzar complex, and would make us all worship him and pray to him if he could.  He has done nothing but use the Constitution as toilet paper since he came to office.  The man is 100% out of control.

  • @cmdr_keen - Yes, let’s see how another 4 years of the Free Shit Army goes down. Life is good. Gas is $1.38 and not $3.83. And the best part is my oatmeal is $1.79 and not $4.79.

Guess what, angel food cake? Bush can’t be blamed for the next four years.

You mustn’t pull me into politics here, silly boys! Now I cannot resist myself and must check out your site. Why do I do this to myself??!!

  • @GodlessLiberal - I wanted to add, if we are racist for opposing Obummer then you people are racist for opposing Herman Cain.  You had better work on becoming less sensitive my friend.  What are you going to do if I call your man Obama a faggot, or a village idiot from Kenya?  Because you know he’s both deep down in your heart of hearts.  You just pretend he’s something other than what he really is because you want him to be marketable to more people, even people who don’t agree with you, but he’s not.  Any true patriot will see him for what he is, as will anyone with a functional brain.  He’s not even a real black man.  He’s a half breed Kenyan Muslim, who bows down to the king of Saudi Arabia like a good little suckup.

  • @Kellsbella - Hey, I greatly appreciate your input sister.  You are most welcome on my page.

  • @Kellsbella - Individual charity based on an arbitrary consideration like geography is irrelevant to @GodlessLiberal‘s broader point: federal taxes are collected and then spent all over the country. The chart that Crisko linked highlights that the states that give most to the Federal treasury get the least back, and the states that give least to the Federal treasury get the most.It just so happens that those states that claim the most Federal dollars typically vote Republican and those that give most tend to vote Democrat, a complete polar opposite to the common narrative pushed by certain political groups.

    Different concept to individual charity.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdPSqL9_mfM&bpctr=1352325023

Welcome to Amerika. At least in Costa Rica the bums have to work for a buck. Shall we go, then?

  • I had that same reaction last night looking at the maps of country and states.  I wrote this; The vote – I don’t understand how the majority of the country can be red, the majority of a state can be red, and yet the majority vote is blue?  It just doesn’t look believable to me.  What’s even more disturbing is the results of voting on issues.

  • @Kellsbella - Seen that before, and it is absolutely chilling.  Not only is he the first man to occupy the white house to ever have his own personal symbol, but also his own theme song, and it’s so disturbing how he targets and uses children.

I was thinking Costa Rica.  I’m thinking I might go work in South Korea for my career and then go retire to Costa Rica.  We’ll see what happens.  Even if we don’t have our country any more, we still have our values and our identities as individuals.

  • @JstNotherDay - Yes, we need to accept that our country has been pulled out from underneath us, but instead of compromising on our values we need to change our strategy.  Our new strategy should be to focus on preserving whatever ground we have left.  We need to write to our state governors to encourage them to stand up to Obama and his tyranny.

  • @agnophilo - Even I have to agree with Agnophilo, that is just wrong.

  • @cmdr_keen - And this is my biggest problem with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31j7HK0g1MU  You basically have the WH choosing who the winners and losers shall be….and it jes makes me as green as Solyndra! Or Shrek.

  • @JstNotherDay -

It’s a combination of demographics and geography. The majority of states in the interior are large, but sparsely populated. The coastlines (as with most countries) have concentrated urban population centres that account for more population.
As the number of electoral college votes is predicated on the number of senators and representatives each state has, which is predicated on population, you have large, populous states such as Texas, California, and New York that have large numbers of electoral college votes, while geographically large but population deficient states such as North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming have fewer electoral college votes.
With the majority of Democratic states being smaller and on the east coast, it gives a skewed representation of how the vote patterns emerge.
This shows a little bit what I’m trying to say (choose “counties” or “size of lead” on the left).

  • I imagine you heard of the “riot” of college students in MS.

“Ole Miss journalism student Margaret Ann Morgan posted the following comments to Twitter, “Students of all races yelling on rebel drive. Lots of racial slurs.”
Morgan also mentioned she is ashamed at what she saw and heard on her campus following the election.”quotes from this new report. http://www.wmbfnews.com/story/20025451/riots-on-ole-miss-campus-after-election-results-announcedI imagine AAR will call this a riot for the right reason, like all the southern Christians bused their children to Christian schoosl for the “right reasons.” That reason, to avoid integrating their students into the public schools in the South.  @GodlessLiberal -

  • @vexations - I hope the unrest will continue until we get our freedom.

I also intend to not put my children in the public schools if I can avoid it.  Public education = statist indoctrination.

  • @Kellsbella - Yeah, some, but the 18-29 group went for Obummer big time.  If you want to change demographics, get a bunch of conservatives to move from Texas to Ohio.  2014 will likely result in more conservatives getting elected to the House and Senate and perhaps some more state legislatures.

Conservatives are doing well in state legislatures.  They need to implement a strategy that takes advantage of that.  Unfortunately, they tend to lack creativity.

  • @cmdr_keen - I understand it.  I just disagree with it.  I do not think that small geographic areas, just because they are densely populated, should dictate the whole country.  I think it is time for change, as once it was necessary before, it is necessary again.

  • @soccerdadforlife - If things keep going the way they are, I foresee a complete sweep in the sentae in 2014.

  • @obamawatch - What is it you agree with him on exactly?

  • @cmdr_keen - “So, basically, you’re advocating rolling back universal suffrage based on an election outcome you didn’t like.  Tell me how that

    isn’t

advocating tyranny, impinging on freedoms, and is in any way constitutional?”

Do we have universal suffrage?  Can all teenagers vote?

Taking power from those incapable of using it responsibly is always good, no matter whether it infringes on some impractical, ridiculous ideal of universal suffrage.  We have plenty of examples from history of societies implementing reasonable limits on age.  Giving political power to the naive is absurd and any country that does so can expect bad govt.  It takes experience to develop political maturity.  Of course, if you lack experience, I don’t expect this argument to persuade you.  Those who have experience ought to find it persuasive.

States get to determine the rules of their elections.  They can figure out practical ways to keep young people from voting.  They might also have to call for a constitutional convention.

You don’t know what tyranny is.  Tyranny is when supreme court judges strike down laws without any constitutional authority.  Tyranny is when a president takes a company in bankruptcy, screws its creditors, and gives it to his political cronies.  Tyranny is when a president takes taxes and redistributes them to his cronies.  Tyranny is when a president says that only his political cronies can get federal contracts.  Tyranny is NOT saying that someone must wait until a certain age to vote.

Why do you say such ridiculous things?

  • @Kellsbella - Which way, bearing in mind that not all senators are up for reelection in 2014?

  • So, based on the fact that I am a liberal I am neither patriotic nor American? Why, exactly, did I go to Iraq with the Army? Here I thought it was because I loved my country. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • @Confusion_Calamity_Chaos - Well, a Republican Congress helped Clinton….

I get a bit tickled that Dems take the credit for his 93′ economic plan. The reality is that the Republicans Contract for America plans, along with the 96′ Republican-pushed tax cuts, were the reason for our country not having a deficit at the end of his term.

Crap! Now I’ve got to go. One last thing: Do you not believe we could achieve a majority in the senate in 2014?

  • @Kellsbella - I was thinking of moving to the mountains of Utah with Ray (TrainTrack), but I could move to Texas too. I complain about hot weather, but I could happily suck it up if it meant a secession from the USSA.

  • @Confusion_Calamity_Chaos - Or it may be that you have no idea what it is the Democrats stand for.  Let me ask you this, what is it you like about Obama?  Do you like how he is downsizing the military?  Do you like how he handled Benghazi?  Do you like how he blamed Benghazi on an obscure internet movie and arrested Nakuola Besseley Nakuola as a scapegoat?  That’s a double failure right there.  Not only did he lie for two weeks, but he also impenged upon our freedom of speech and expression here, in the name of appeasing Islam.  Do you like how he apologizes to the Muslims on our behalf?  Do you like how he bows down to the Saudi King?  Do you like paying twice as much for gas?  Do you like the idea of having drones deployed over the country?  Do you like the increase in food prices?  Do you like having an unguarded border?  Do you want a tax hike?  Do you want a government panel determining what medical care you have access to?  If you like these things then I can only conclude that the reason you joined the army was that you were hoping to indirectly commit suicide.

  • @JstNotherDay – The check against that is that each state is granted two senators, regardless of size. If you’re going to have a representative democracy, each representative should represent roughly equal numbers of people. It’s not perfect, but then there’s no such thing. I wonder if you’d have this opinion if Romney had been elected. Methinks not.

  • @soccerdadforlife – Simply, because you say such ridiculous statements and expect no one to challenge you on them. And yes, teenagers can vote. That’s what 18 and 19 year olds are. If those individuals can die for their country, be tried as adults within the court system, can be considered independent of their parents care, then yes, they should be able to vote. They’re adults.
Just because some within that demographic don’t agree with your opinions and in your subjective, value judgement are not “mature” enough to vote should not be grounds to disenfranchise them. Frankly, it smacks of sour grapes because your preferred candidate was not elected.
The examples of “tyranny” that you asserted arn’t accurate or even examples of tyranny to begin with.

  • I want to secede and form my own island with nymphomaniac lesbians. WE CAN’T ALWAYS GET WHAT WE WANT. The man holds us down.

  • @soccerdadforlife -

You’re right. Except your plan has too many unqualified people voting. We should require graduate degrees for those who want to vote. That way, we could end the complete failure that has been the “war on drugs,” and gay marriage would become legal everywhere. Libertarians and liberals could unite on social issues and then the discussion could properly focus on which economic policies are best.

  • I would love to create some sort of organized group in which we can then join others who believe that the rules we live by and hold true to our hearts are from god, not godless liberals.  Please email me at danathepsychguy@yahoo.com for a further discussion on creating our movement and aiding to the only soluiton which is to incite our secession.  God bless!

  • @agnophilo - Ah, I KNEW a liberal would call him a ‘racist’. Look how quickly you turned up! *ROTFLMAO* You liberals are as predictable as a whiny Quebecois.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - I dislike your drones flying too close to my border. I have already written my MP, demanding the fucking thing be shot down if it ever enters our airspace.

  • i really hope you guys secede.  you’re dead weight.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - Dead weight would be liberal states that can’t manage to operate without creating massive amounts of debt (see california).  And these are the assholes that are given the most weight in choice for how to run our government (see yourself).

  • @iopsurfer - if conservatives were serious about the debt, they would be willing to increase revenues.

  • If you let such unfounded fears rule your actions and blind hate rule your heart, please feel free to “secede”. Thankfully, I believe not many will join you.

  • Thanks to President George W. Bush and the GOP, we have the Patriot Act under which anyone can be locked up without reason and without representation, citizen of the US or not. Thanks to President George W. Bush and the GOP, we also have a new class of “enemy” who don’t have to wear a uniform but who are against the US. These folks do not fall under the Geneva Convention rules for prisoner of war treatment rules. I think you are a threat the the US. I think you should be locked up indefinitely under President George W. Bush and GOP’s rules. You are an enemy to the US. I want protection from people like you.

  • @whataboutbahb - Nahh, just shoot the libs, especially academics and media types.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - oh, didn’t Boehner talk about increasing revenues?  guess you haven’t been paying attention.  duh.

  • most libs are just sooo stupid

  • @cmdr_keen - In your mind tyranny doesn’t mean “taking power that you aren’t authorized to take.”  I provided some instances of Obummer doing just that.  You are living in your own little world, not reality.

  • @cmdr_keen - So you’re saying that ALL teenagers can vote, which is what I asked?  Guess you are living in lalaland.

  • @Confusion_Calamity_Chaos - liberal = traitor  End of story.

  • @CanuckFascist - Better call your MP about all the libs on Xanga droning on and on and on.  And what about all the Canadian drones in Canada?  Don’t you want them shot, too?  The CLAMs?  CLAMs–Communists and Liberals in Academia and Media

  • @whataboutbahb - Unfortunately, experience doesn’t guarantee people will learn from it, but it does provide an opportunity for learning.  And to your point, many academics haven’t learned from their experiences, but continue to cling to their liberal ideological foolishness.  So, your criterion (graduate degrees) is worthless for filtering people in, though it may be useful for filtering them out.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - If Democrats were serious about the debt they would be willing to cut spending.

  • @The_Final_Acts - You are an enemy of the US, and we would be better off without you.  Anyways, come at me if you want, see what happens when you do.

  • @rocketopossum - yep, let’s see how it goes

  • I was expecting that more people would protest the outcome of the election. I remember hearing about how a civil war would erupt if Obama was re-elected. A lot of states have passed laws to nullify Obamacare, but I don’t see anything else changing for awhile. I think when the economy hits rock bottom and people are starving and unemployed, we will start to see more protests and more talk about succession.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - I hope we secede as well, but of course once we do your taxes are going to double, because you will have to pay for all the welfare people on your own.

  • @CanuckFascist - I can guarantee that people in the US will also be shooting at them as well.  Those bastards.  The reason they fear the American people so much is because they know they are working against us, and they are afraid of what people will do when more of the people find out.

Liberals have a very peculiar definition of racist, which they use as a catch all term for everyone they disagree with or don’t like for any reason.  That’s why when they call me racist I usually just laugh and take it as a compliment.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - considering how many welfare recipients are in the states you want to claim, i’m not concerned :) you’re claiming some of the poorest states (mine included).  fortunately, i’m not on welfare and can afford to move elsewhere.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - they are.  they want to cut defense spending and get rid of tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - I’m not on welfare either, but I lose about $400 from each paycheck, some of which goes to welfare.  Since I make more than you I pay more into it than you do in Federal taxes.  As I told agnophilo, the top welfare states are all liberal states: http://www.cnbc.com/id/31910310/The_Biggest_US_Welfare_States

The welfare people voted Obama.  You will bear the full burden of welfare without us.  But, that’s not my problem.  Once you guys are gone we will be better off.  Maybe you won’t be, but most of you will be happier without having to listen to us anymore.

Tax breaks are not spending.  The essential Democrat plan is to raise taxes, that’s it, while any short term revenues from that will still be swallowed by the increas in social spending and foriegn aid to people who hate us.  Military spending is necessary.  The largest expenditure is entitlement spending, which Democrats won’t cut, and when all other forms of social spending are added in you get up to more than a third of the Federal budget.  Democrats only want to weaken the country and break it.

  • @soccerdadforlife -

So your criteria for whether someone should be able to vote is if “they have experience and have learned from it” and it’s taken as a (conclusive?) presumption that liberals have not “learned from their experience.” And I guess you are the sole determiner of what actually “learning from your experience” means? What a wonderful democratic system that would be.

I have met a ton of people in law school who are able to articulate a wide variety of positions. Grad schools are not this imagined breeding ground for liberals that you seem to have in mind. There’s a whole range of beliefs. The difference is that most people I’ve encountered are able to articulate and provide a consistent framework for their views, whether that view is progressive, libertarian, for states’ rights, for a very strong federal system, etc. Based on this and past experiences with you, though, you’ve utterly failed in that regard.

  • @whataboutbahb - Actually, no, I only said that experience is required, since a lack of it guarantees incompetence.  I’ve seen lots of stupid people with grad degrees say stupid stuff and academics tend to be liberals.  Obviously not all, but a majority.  Same with the news media.  They think they’re smart, but I think that successful entrepreneurs tend to be clever in a different way.  I got two degrees, but I don’t hold them in high regard anymore.  I think that entrepreneurs likely are more intelligent than academics or law students.  Being able to construct an ivory tower academic argument doesn’t really benefit anybody.  Being able to construct a company that sells products people want, provides employment, and pays taxes benefits society as a whole.

“What a wonderful democratic system that would be.”  Here’s some news for you: we don’t live in a democracy.  You’d think that someone attending law school would know that.  If you have some other point, you need to clarify it.  Sounds like some emotional, liberal rhetoric as it stands.

Just because someone can’t justify their position doesn’t mean that their position isn’t correct.  It only affects their ability to persuade others.

  • @cmdr_keen - Hmmm, now you just had to make me go and think, didn’t you?  lol  I like to think that I would feel the same way if the majority of the country(or state) were blue… but… hmmm, I wonder.

  • @soccerdadforlife - If they were smart it would be hard for them to be liberals, unless they were the ones pulling all the strings.

  • @soccerdadforlife -

I said “democratic system.” We do live in a democratic system, no matter what other words you want to surround it with (e.g., “representative,” “republic,” “constitutional”). You think a person with such a disdain for academia would be less pedantic.

I agree that to be a successful entrepreneur, a person typically must be pretty smart.  So how about this amendment to the earlier proposal: The only people who can vote are those with some sort of graduate/professional degree (beyond college) that also have at minimum two years of work experience in that field or successful business owners?

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex -

“You will bear the full burden of welfare without us.”
unless you plan to pay for every welfare recipient in a secession state to move, i don’t see how you can avoid paying for welfare.
the top welfare states are also the most populous, most urbanized and most educated.  if you want Mississippi, you can have it.  it’s the fattest, most uneducated state in the whole union.
    “Military spending is necessary. “
the military doesn’t even want more money.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - No matter how you slice it you have the most freeloaders in your states.  Texas is highly educated and urbanized, and it’s not on that list.

We’ll take Mississippi, as well as the rest of the south (except for New Mexico), and the center of the country.  You can have all the Democrat states on the west coast and east.

Anyways, we won’t have welfare in our states.  There won’t be any freeloading in country.  If anyone has a problem with it they can leave and go begging to you guys, and you should welcome them, because they all voted for your man Obama.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - AS do I. Liberals are always screaming ‘racist’ this and ‘racist’ that. It simply makes me yawn, and shake my head at their limited intellect.

  • I have the greatest solution. We’ll take your entire country, and absorb it into Canada. You Americans attempted to make Canada part of your country, but we kicked your asses back across the border. Shit, we even had ownership of all the Great Lakes and every American city around them along with cities further south.

  • The only problem with your idea of secession is that our new country will have to build two 40 foot walls on the eastern and western borders to keep all the illegal aliens from California, New Jersey and New York out.

And we’ll have to complete the wall already begun on our part of the southern border.

But with all our new oil money we should be able to handle it.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Whenever I look at the US military budget, and Canada’s, I toss my head back and guffaw.

  • @soccerdadforlife - You have no idea… but there are laws. I cannot do shit to liberals/commies/anarchists. I’d love to, but…

  • @CanuckFascist - When I was younger I used to feel the need to prove to them that I wasn’t, but I no longer feel that need anymore.  The most I might do now is turn it back on them.  We had a really good black candidate in Herman Cain.  He had some solid economic policies, he was very conservative, and he would tell the liberal media where to stick it whenever they came after him.  Also, unlike Obama he was born in the US.  The liberals wasted no time in putting this guy down.  The media came down on him harder than they ever did on Bush, and the attacks became so intense that he stepped out of the primary.  I think it was because the liberals were absolutely terrified about their half-breed Kenyan Muslim having to run against another black guy, because if they did then they could no longer use the race card to browbeat stupid white people with white guilt into voting for Obama, and they would certainly lose a good portion of the black vote.  So sometimes what I will do is when they call me racist for opposing Obama I just remind them of Herman Cain, and that always shuts them up.

I think the liberal fixation on race is extremely unhealthy.  The problem is that the only way those asshats can win is by pitting different groups against eachother.  In the US it typically boils down to pitting a variety of groups, ranging from Muslims, to Mexicans, to queers against the traditional Americans, and then what the Democrats do is present themselves as an alternative to being ruled by us.  It’s really sick and pure evil.

As to your second comment, I don’t think being part of Canada would be good for us long term, as Canada is a pretty socialist place.  What I want is to preserve my freedom, way of life, and values.  I want to cut loose the liberal states and either have the south and center of the country be the new US, or have each conservative state be a separate autonomous nation.  It’s bad enough that Puerto Rico is trying to become a state right now.  I hope that Congress will block that.  If they do then that means the Dems will have a truly invincible voting bloc, and my people will never be free.  Well, we won’t be truly free until we secede.

  • @PrisonerxOfxLove - And my country has to build a wall all the way from fucking B.C. to New Brunswick.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - I agree with you on the liberals using race as a tool to gain advantage, to vilify others. I do NOT agree with you calling my country ‘socialist’. We are far from it.

  • @CanuckFascist - We have a bigger military, and ours has been engaged in pretty much constant war since 2001.  It takes more to run it.

  • @CanuckFascist - Doesn’t Canada have government healthcare?  Also what about all those speech laws?  Of course we are heading towards socialized healthcare thanks to Obama.

  • @PrisonerxOfxLove - That’s right, and there’s two other facts to consider.  Without the liberals we can pass whatever immigration laws we want, and there won’t be anyone to stop us from requiring suspicious persons to show ID’s.  So if we see some guy walking around with a limp wrist we can check his ID, and if it says “Peoples Republic of California” then we can deport him.  Also, we can save money because we won’t be engaging in any more senseless wars.  Who cares who is in charge of Libya or Syria?  It’s none of our business.

  • @CanuckFascist - It’s interesting how your government doesn’t seem to be concerned about securing the border with the US, but it’s even more messed up that ours won’t secure the border with Mexico.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Whereas our military is tiny. Sheeit, your country is ripping us off with their sale to us of their F-35 jets. They intended to sell them to us sans engines. I wrote my MP demanding we start buying MiGs from the Russians.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - The USA’s socialised healthcare system is FAR, FAR greater than our own. You didn’t know your taxes pay for the healthcare of those who cannot afford it? Wow. I am aghast.
Our healthcare is not completely socialised. Health clinics are privately-owned. Doctors do NOT work for the State. They are private enterprises who bill the State for their care. If you are going to bitch about our ‘socialised’ healthcare, feel free to review this.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Our border guards began to be ARMED in 2006 per a promise by the CONSERVATIVE government of Canada. The Liberals demanded this be stopped. Good thing they lost out. Fucking liberals. It is thanks to your country that guns are hitting our streets.

  • “So if we see some guy walking around with a
limp wrist we can check his ID, and if it says “Peoples Republic of
California” then we can deport him.”

@Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex -  Alright, that made me laugh uproariously.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - um… i live in Missouri, one of the states you want to claim in your secession. there are tons of welfare recipients here in St. Louis, especially within the city limits.  we also have a large population of seniors.  if you take Missouri, you’re taking them as well.

“If anyone has a problem with it they can leave and go begging to you guys, and you should welcome them, because they all voted for your man Obama.”
wrong on that point.  my dad is on unemployment, and my grandmother collects SS and Medicare.  they both voted for Romney.
but i doubt they’d want to live in your country.  they tend to like the freedom to believe what they wish and not be treated as heathens for it.  that’s the irony of your secession… what you really want is a totalitarian government that aligns with your beliefs.  you don’t want dissent or alternative viewpoints.  that’s the opposite of what America stands for and why it was founded.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - What I’m saying is that there will be no more welfare and foodstamps when we have our own country.  If people are on it they can stay if they want, but it’s going to stop once we are in charge.  No more mooching.  I’m from Manchester, MO originally, and I know about the poverty in the Metro area.  There is poverty in every metro area, but once we secede there’s not going to be any more mooching, and again, most of the moochers are in the liberal states.

Again you’re trying to be slick but you failed, I said WELFARE people.  Welfare is what the Dems use to get votes.  I would be very much surprised if any welfare people voted Romney.  The idea behind SS is that you pay into it when you’re working, and receive the money back when you retire.  Of course, the government went into debt when they had an SS surplus, so the way it is now the working people pay into the SS for the retired people, and when we retire there will be nothing.

What the hell are you talking about?  If you can’t stick with what I actually said then don’t pretend like you know what my position is.  It’s you liberals who are always putting in laws against freedom of speech and though.  Look at England, ground zero for cultural Marxism.  They arrested a guy for singing “everyone loves kung fu fighting” because it was “racist.”  It’s you liberals who are against freedom of speech and thought.  It’s liberals who think freedom of speech ends where your feelings begin.  The left is infamously notorius around the world for thought and speech crimes, typically classified as “political crimes.”  You keep poking us with your stick and then you get mad when we slap you.  If you’re going to poke us then expect to get slapped.  If you want to live in peace with us then leave us alone and quit trying to stick your hands in our pockets and micromanage our lives.  if you want to have a communist country where “hate speech” is illegal, taxes are high, and everything is regulated then go and form your own craphole state, and leave us out of it.

  • @CanuckFascist - I’m telling you, we don’t have socialized healthcare, or at least we didn’t until Obama passed Obamacare.  There was no public insurance plan or public medical coverage.  Everyone had to pay their own medical insurance.  The guy who wrote the article was talking about the portion of the GNP which goes toward medical care and coverage, not talking about how much tax revenue goes into paying for medical care.  Up until Obamacare takes affect everyone has a private plan which they pay for themselves, except for the people like me who have no coverage at all.  GNP definition: http://www.auburn.edu/~johnspm/gloss/GNP

It seems to me that the article you sent is trying to argue that in terms of the GNP it would be more cost efficient to establish a public/government plan for medical coverage.  That is the most common argument that the left uses because they don’t see people in the country as individuals but as a conglomerate.  So what ends up happening is that taxes are raised on some people in order to provide coverage for others, and maybe the government will also undersell private insurance agencies until it gets to the point where the only option is the government option except for the very rich.  That being said, most people in the US like to choose their own medical coverage, but now we have Obamacare, so for many if not most of us a panel of government people will decide what sort of coverage we can have and what the cut off date for coverage will be.  In the first draft of Obamacare there was going to be a cut off age for heart surgery, I think it was around 55.  They were also going to force people above a certain age to undergo “end of life counceling” which in otherwords meant choosing how they want to die.

There was already a program called Medicare, which provides coverage for some people under limited circumstances, but it is not a public medical plan that anyone can have access too, at least, not legally/officially, and not yet.  But with Obama, who knows?

I don’t know exactly how the public medical coverage works in Canada, but in the US we call that sort of thing socialized medicine. I know a lot of countries in Europe have things like that, and so does Japan.

What we conservatives want is for the government to take a sink or swim approach when it comes to social issues. Meaning, whatever people want they pay for themselves, and if there is a situation of serious need then the private charitees, family, and religious institutions take care of it.  I am pretty much against all social programs, and I’m against letting in immigrants from 3rd world countries whose sole purpose in coming here is to take advantage of our system.  Man, we get so many parasites every year, you don’t even know.  They are about as helpful to the country as bot flies to a dog.

Sadly our government doesn’t care about Canada, or Israel, or Japan, or Taiwan, or any of the other countries that were traditionally our allies. Right now all they care about is sucking up to hostile nations like Russia and the damn Muslims.  Obama gave money to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and helped that revolution there.  He also got us into the Muslim uprising in Libya, a country which has jack all to do with us.  Now that bastard is interfereing in Syria, helping the radical Islamist groups take control there.  Even though our government is opposing Assad, it is my sincere hope (perhaps in vain) that Assad will win in Syria.  I hate Islam, and all of our tinkering in the ME has just made things there worse for the Christians.  The best thing for Middle Eastern Christians is a secular military dictatorship.  Once that goes, the radical Muslims take over and start killing Christians post haste.  To me a Muslim is a cockroach terrorist, but I care deeply about Christians in the Middle East.  Furthermore, it’s awfully telling how Obama was completely mum on the Iranian revolution, which was the only secular revolution in the entire Middle East and North Africa.  If Obama loves the Muslims so much he should go and be their president, and leave us in peace.  But, he needs to take Biden with him.

Anyways yes, liberals are all about open borders.  They are a bunch of globalists who hate the idea of nation states and self determinism.  Obama has worked hard to keep our border with Mexico as open as possible, and he’s even taken guards OFF the border, while preventing states from putting their own people there.  I would consider obama the worst traitor ever except that he’s not even from here and his loyalties were always to something else.  So there we have it.

As for the guns, look up Fast and Furious.  Maybe they did something similar with Canada, or it could just be black market weapons that are getting there.  What are the gun laws in Canada?  Are you allowed to carry?  If not then that’s something you should campaign for.  An armed populace is a safe populace.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Everyone pays the same in our healthcare system. The rich get no special treatment. They are free to get extra private insurance, but it will not move them to the front of the queue as our laws will not permit it. A doctor here cannot charge an exhorbitant fee as they do in the USA, lest they wish to be stripped of their license and do some jail time.

Right-wing business organisations have done their own studies and confirmed the findings. Our healthcare system IS cheaper than that of the USA. Patients are NEVER denied treatment, as long as said treatment takes place in Canada. Our surgery costs, etc. are far lower than that of the USA. No one in CAnada may be denied coverage due to a pre-existing condition as your insurance companies do on a daily basis. That is illegal here.

    Medicare

is a national social insurance program, administered by the US federal government since 1965, that guarantees access to health insurance for Americans
ages 65 and older and younger people with disabilities as well as people
    with end stage renal disease.
As a social insurance program, Medicare spreads the financial risk
associated with illness across society to protect everyone, and thus has
a somewhat different social role from for-profit private insurers,
which manage their risk portfolio by adjusting their pricing according
    to perceived risk.”

    Medicaid

is the United States health program for certain people and families with low incomes and resources. It is a means-tested program that is jointly funded by the state and federal governments, and is managed by the states.

People served by Medicaid are US citizens or legal permanent residents, including low-income adults, their children, and people with certain disabilities.
Poverty alone does not necessarily qualify someone for Medicaid.

Medicaid is the largest source of funding for medical and health-related
services for people with limited income in the United States

    .”

    That’s socialised health-care, guy.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - When it comes to immigrants taking advantage of a country’s social programs, we Canadians have you beat badly. Our healthcare system, once the absolute jewel of the world, is slowly being eroded by immigrants who come here SOLELY for the care. They do not pay a dime into the system, yet they get full coverage the moment they set foot upon our soil. It is so enshrined in our leftists Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a document created by a leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, and an avowed communist. I do not agree with this at all. I want them booted pronto, by use of force if necessary.

  • You need to remind gumFLAPPER that it was liberals who deny children in Canada the right to celebrate Christmas in our schools. In Hamilton, a business had a huge sign across THEIR PRIVATE PROPERTY, lit up in beautiful multicoloured lights, the words ‘Merry Christmas’. Suddenly, the police showed up and ordered them to take the sign down because it infringed upon the rights of other religions. They were told if they did not remove the signage, they would be shut down. How’s that for liberal freedom? I, as a fascist, would have simply shrugged at the complainant, told them to ‘fuck off’, and if they didn’t like it, to head over to Pearson International for the first plane out of Canada.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - You mean ‘hate laws’. Yes, we have them. So do you, sadly enough. Ernst Zundel was booted out of Canada for espousing the Holocaust denial. Even I agree with many of his views.

  • @GodlessLiberal - I totally agree with you, but I wouldn’t mind a more updated reference. New Mexico has been a BLUE state in the last two presidential elections. just sayin’

  • Oh it won’t be me coming after you. It’ll be a pack of federal agents at your door. If you don’t think everything you or I or anyone says is monitored, you’d better think again. I lost a few friends in the “false wars” that George W. Bush led us into. Instead of whining like a big baby, you should be on your knees and grateful to the men and women who lost their lives so an oil man could get control of one of the richest oil reserves on the planet, oh, I meant so you could have your freedom. Most of us watched that useless GOP ass of a president destroy this country in 8 years and put more “big government” into our lives than we could have ever imagined. You’re just like the lame GOP congress that doesn’t truly give a shit about the American people but would rather spend our tax dollars blocking every effort by President Obama to get this country back on track and that also includes providing medical care for our troops which the GOP are so fond of “supporting”. I’m ashamed to call myself a Christian when I listen to you people whine and belly ache. There is alot more that I could say, but being the good Christian that I am, I won’t. You should be ashamed to call yourself an American.

  • @The_Final_Acts - The day that we no longer have freedom of speech or expression is the day I will gladly take a bullet to the head.  All you liberals can do after 4 years of Obama is blame Bush.  I got news for you, all of the wars, the domestic surveillance policies, and the big spending and government growth policies of Bush have been continued by Barack Osama.  EVERY LAST ONE.  So don’t insult my intelligence by claiming that you have a problem with those things as a matter of policy.  Obama had some crap to deal with when he came in, but he doubled it.  He grew government larger than ever, he more than doubled the federal deficit, he more than doubled gas prices, the prices of food have gone up, and so has the amount of people on welfare (which is what his party wants).  Listen, I don’t expect to be able to reason with you, but I will correct any lies and misinformation posted on my page.

I don’t consider any liberals to be CHristians anyways.  You’re voting for a man who can be seen on youtube talking contemptuously about Christianity and sucking up to Islam.  You’re talking about a man who supports homosexuality, abortion, splitting Israel between Gods chosen people and their enemies, and whoring away our sovereignty to the UN. I’ll keep my guns, religion, and money, and you can keep your stupid change.  Yes stupid.  Now the deficit will again double as will gas prices, and most of the idiots who voted Obama will continue to blame Bush, like the blind obedient sheep they are.

  • @CanuckFascist - ”Charter of Rights and Freedoms” sounds like a grossly inappropriately named document.  What crap.  I hate all that touchy feely PC bullcrap, which is really just an iron fist of tyranny in a fuzzy pink glove.  It’s nothing but an excuse to kill free speech and browbeat white people and Christians at the same time.

It’s a joke whenever the left talks about rights or freedom.  They don’t really believe in either, and then they want to turn around and talk about us.  All most of us want is to be left alone, and not have big brother getting up in our business, in our pockets, or under our skin.  It’s funny how the left is so anti-Christian.  I bet if the Muslims wanted to put up something the wouldn’t stop them.  According to the left Christianity is bad and Islam is good. If you go to a Muslim country they don’t respect the rights of any other religion.  If you go to India the Hindus don’t care about other people seeing their religion.  They have this holiday called Holi, which is a celebration of colors for one of their female deities, and they put paint on anyone for it, without bothering to ask their religion.  I think the left has has pure contempt for western civilization so they want to attack every aspect of it.

Geert Wilders was put on trial in his country for criticizing Pisslam.  Holy crap.  I’m not someone who denies the Holocaust, but I wouldn’t kick a man out of the country for having different beliefs than mine.  I also don’t agree with those people who say we never went to the moon or that 9/11 was an inside/government job, but I don’t want to kick them.  I do however want to kick Muslims, but that’s because they are enemy soldiers and nothing more.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex -

“Again you’re trying to be slick but you failed, I said WELFARE people. “
i consider any form of financial assistance from the government to be welfare.  what’s the difference between unemployment and food stamps?  either way, someone else’s money is supporting you.
“ It’s you liberals who are against freedom of speech and thought.  It’s liberals who think freedom of speech ends where your feelings begin.”
really?  then why haven’t you been arrested yet?

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - Except that we aren’t talking about what you said we are talking about what I said.  If you want to accuse me of saying something you need some hard evidence against me, like an actual quote, rather than your own subjective redefinition of terms.  That carries no weight.  If you want to smear me then at least do it based on something real.  You are just like the liberal media with it’s twisting of facts to smear the Republicans.

I haven’t been arrested yet because America is still more conservative than England, Holland, France, etc.  It’s not due to the lack of effort on behalf of liberals that I haven’t been arrested, but due to the efforts of conservatives to protect freedom of speech.  If I were living in England I certainly would have been arrested by now, or exiled.

  •          I’d find if fascinating to read an argument as to why things like, oh, the Affordable Care Act, EPA regulation of carbon emissions, financial reform, the appointment of Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court, and so on represent more or less the same things George W. Bush did. But you’ll be glad I won’t waste my time and yours commenting anymore on your page. There are a lot of very sad people where I live that have been stockpiling guns, water, and coin money for years and in the end they won’t be able to eat any of them. I think the vision you have for this country and our future is depressing and bleak indeed. I wish you the best in life. I have a much different vision for the future of this great country and for my children. I see a peaceful and very prosperous nation for all of its citizens, not just the white, republican Christians.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex -

“ Except that we aren’t talking about what you said we are talking about what I said.”

you didn’t answer my question.  why do you vilify food stamps, but not unemployment?
and why are you throwing a hissy fit rather than sticking to the issue at hand?  you’re the one who said that no one on welfare voted for Romney.  i disagreed and offered evidence based on my definition of welfare… not yours.  now, it’s your turn to defend your definition of welfare.  or are you incapable of doing so?

  • @The_Final_Acts - I didn’t say Obama was the same as Bush, I said he carried on all the same bad Bush policies, which makes you sound like either an incredible ignoramus or an incredible hypocrite when you talk about Bush like he was the worst thing since leperosy.  Obama certainly has done his own things as well, which should have been implied by my remarks about how he has changed our economy, but that’s OK, I because I’ll say it now.  Obama has decimated our economy.  The cost of living has gone up while more people are uneployed, and for those who are the salaries remain the same.  He wants to raise taxes on employers, he is anti-business, he is classist, he apologizes to our enemies, he does not defend our freedom (Nakoula Bessely Yousef, case in point).  He is the man of taxing and spending, dependency, and socialism.  Gas prices are more than doubled since he took over.  He could have ameliorated that by domestic drilling, and by bringing in the pipeline from Canada, but instead he blocks all these things and donates money to asshats like Hugo Chavez so that he can develop HIS oil industry, and he also chunks some money at Islamo-fascist pricks like the Muslim Brotherhood.

As for your friends stockpiling, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are also stockpiling food.  They stockpile because they are smarter and more knowledgeable than you.  They know that the welfare economy eventually has to break and that hordes of dependence/entitlement zombies will come after them for food and loot.  They are also concerned with martial law being implemented, and would rather die defending themselves than being taken to a concentration camp.  Ask yourself what Obama staffed and activate the FEMA camps.  Since Obama is not committed to energy independence, or to strengthening our military, it is entirely possible that our infrastructure will break down at some point due to a lack of petrolium based fuels.  At that point, there is no way of getting fresh food.  If these people have food stockpiled they aren’t going to tell you.  If the Muslims detonate a nuclear device in our airspace it may send out an EMP pulse, knocking out all of our electronic systems, which means digital currency will be lost.  Hence the stockpiling of money.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - Again, you’re trying to be clever and mince what I said.  I never said I approved of unemployment insurance, in fact I don’t.  I said the welfare people all voted for Obama.  You said no they didn’t, because my parents voted for Romney and they are on uneployment insurance.  I then said that I said WELFARE not unemployment insurance or SS.  You then asked me why I approved of uneployment insurance and not Welfare.  You are all over the place, and you aren’t addressing what I actually said.  You are more concerned about making me look like I am contradicting myself than advocating your position.  Your rhetorical style is less than efficient.

  • No, they have been stockpiling for years  I said. Since well before even George W. Bush took office. I think they started during the Clinton years and they are not my friends just people in this area that have a similar dismal view of the future that you hold. I don’t believe they are smarter than I am. They just have different beliefs. If everything plays out the way you think it will, I don’t want to be in some bunker with my children like that scene in “The Road” eating someone else’s stockpiled food and enjoying a Jack Daniels before dying. It’s ridiculous and I believe we are way smarter than that and can prevent that future from happening.

  • @Of_Ravens_And_Roses - I wasn’t gonna do a whole lotta research on such backwards thinking as this post expresses, but good point. I may get that information for a future post.

  • @GodlessLiberal - Let me anticipate your entry:  Everyone who isnt a Godless liberal is backwards.  Everyone who disagrees with you must be either mentally ill or ignorant.  Left wing politicians are all sugercains and lollypops who love everyone and never lie or have any ulterior motives.  The US was founded by communists.  Islam is a religion of peace, no one is trying to curtail gun ownership or freedom of speech, there are no FEMA camps. The fact that Obama tells everyone to give up their nukes and play nice means they will, the UN is our friend, and we can take Putin at his word.

There, I saved you the trouble.

  • @The_Final_Acts - They are preparing.  What is your take on the staffing of FEMA camps?  I want to hear a left wing person justify the FEMA camps.  What is your take on Obama deploying drones over the US?

With the increasing trend toward globalization/world government we should be concerned.  Also, just because Obama scraps out nukes and asks our enemies to do the same doesn’t mean they will.  It’s insane to think that.  It’s also insane to assume that the Muslims will never have nuclear capabilities. It’s better to be prepared, and all the trends of the last two decades show that we are headed toward a 1984 type society, not one which is better and more free.

As of now I’m not a stockpiler myself, because when or if things get crazy I am hoping for a quick death.

  • Fortunately, I am an employed, tax paying American who needs to go to work right now. I’ll answer you after my shift but I agree, I’d go for the quick death any day.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex -

“You are all over the place, and you aren’t addressing what I actually said. “
no… i’m trying to figure out why you don’t consider unemployment benefits to be welfare, when it’s being paid for by taxes.
“You are more concerned about making me look like I am contradicting myself than advocating your position.  ”
i don’t need to advocate my position.  Election Day did that for me.  the simple reality is, we disagree with what’s wrong with this country.  you blame minorities and poor people.  i blame bigots and greedy people.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - Because Welfare is an actual specific program, as are foodstamps and WIC.  IF you add all the entitlement social spending up together it’s an even bigger monster, which composes the largest portion of Federal spending.  The next largest portion is military spending thanks to all the wars.

Saying that “we won the election so therefore we won the debate” is like bashing someone’s head in with a brick and saying that you won whatever the intitial argument was about.  I blame idiot moochers and internationalists/globalists.  I don’t really care if you want to call us bigots, because you use bigots and racist as catch all terms for anyone who disagrees with you.

If the only reason you come here to wrestle with me is to improve your verbal and rhetorical skills then that’s fine, because that’s all I took your motives for in the first place.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - I believe about a quarter of what you stated. I think the Godless part in my name would indicate I don’t defend Islam. I think Putin is an asshole who supports horrible regimes (sidenote: so does the US). Liberal politicians tend to be just as corrupt as the right wing ones, it’s just not as obvious. What the post WOULD entail is that the states that bitch the most about government spending are, statistically, the ones who take the most of it. What I hate more than any particular ideology is hypocrisy.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex -

“Because Welfare is an actual specific program”
i think you’re incorrect on that one.  there is no specific program simply called “welfare.”  here’s a link that covers all welfare programs available in the US:http://www.welfareinfo.org/
“Saying that “we won the election so therefore we won the debate” is like bashing someone’s head in with a brick and saying that you won whatever the intitial argument was about.”
i didn’t say we won the debate… i said tha my position is advocated enough by the support the President received.  i don’t feel like i can add anything more than pointing that out.  don’t twist my words if you don’t like me twisting yours.
“I don’t really care if you want to call us bigots, because you use bigots and racist as catch all terms for anyone who disagrees with you. “
no… i pretty much use them as they correctly apply.  a racist is anyone who thinks that a particular race is superior.  considering how often you bash minorities, i think i can safely assume that you are racist in that you think whites (particularly white Christians) are superior human beings.  likewise, you are a bigot in that you believe there is only one acceptable way of morality.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - How fun.  Just to be clear, I was talking about the people who specifically get checks on a regular basis from the government, so you could call it “cash aid” if you want, but as far as I am concerned all of it needs to go.

“i don’t need to advocate my position.  Election Day did that for me”–The point of this statement was what?  What is it you’re arguing if you’re not attempting to argue your position?

I’m actually not trying to twist your words.  The problem is that you don’t speak plainy, and you move all over the place.  You are trying to engage in innuendo and bait and switch tactics and I’m trying to pin you down.  Anyways I don’t hold it against you, because for me this is good sport.

Liberals always think that conservatives are racist.  The fact is we don’t think about race nearly half as much as you do, on average, but at the same time we don’t let someone’s race protect them from scrutiny.  When we criticize Obama you act like we slew your sacred cow.  But I’ll say whatever I want about that douchewad.  He’s crap, and he’s not even a real black man in the American sense, he’s a half breed Kenyan Muslim, and his wife is an ugly person both physically and personality wise.  I don’t care if that offends or shocks you, because until your people take away my freedom of speech I have freedom to say whatever I want.  There’s nothing sacred about them to me.  I never said ANYWHERE in my journals or comments that I thought any particular race was inherently inferior.  I do see liberals as morally and, in general, intellectually inferior.  I make no secret of that.  I also believe that intelligence is at least partly linked with genetics, so if liberals are a race, then in that regard I could be considered racist, but in reality liberals exist in all races.  Bigot is just a word.  If you weren’t trying to destroy my way of life then there would be no basis for conflict between us.

BTW, which race is the most evolved?  If your an evolutionist then each race has to occupy a different rung on the ladder, if you don’t believe that then you’re a creationist and you need to accept Jesus.

As for your definition of bigot, you are still basically applying it to anyone you don’t like.  There are lots of different belief systems in the world.  At most only one of them can be correct.  That isn’t prejudice, it’s just logic.  Since I, and everyone else, believes that their beliefs are correct, then that makes everyone else wrong by process of elimination.  I don’t know why you deny the obvious reality of this.  Maybe my belief system is wrong, but that has no bearing on the validity of my logic.  But yes, I know you liberals think that logic is bigoted and facts can be racist.  No such luck.

  • @GodlessLiberal - So why ridicule people for wanting to be prepared for the worst?  If you recognize that politicians and government is corrupt then you must also recognize that it is foolish to believe that they have your best interests in mind.  Smart people get prepared, and as long as they are paying for it themsleves it should be no skin off your nose.

I don’t trust Obama.  You can’t be altruistic and generous with other people’s money, and this man, along with his party in general, is nototorious for whoreing us out to the UN.  TO me that makes them traitors and criminals.  But what can I do?  I can’t do anything but point them out, even if people ridicule me for it.

As I told flapper, and some other people, if you look at the top welfare states they are all liberal states.  We also have welfare people in the south, and that is a big part of the reason why none of our states are 100% Republican.  The people who want handouts vote for handouts.  BTW, wanting handouts is not indicative of good morals.  To me this country is becoming like Bizarro World (DC reference), where virture is vice and vice is virtue.  I don’t know why hard work and success is being villified while dependency and mooching is being touted as a virtue.  It makes no kind of sense whatsoever.

  • @GodlessLiberal - I definitely agree that it isn’t worth the effort considering how flimsy and sad this argument is to begin with. I’m just proud of my state for turning blue and wanted you to know.

  • The only FEMA camps I’m aware of were the disaterous messes created after Hurricane Katrina by the George W. Bush administration. But maybe you were talking about these…http://wonkette.com/489429/dispatches-from-the-fema-camps-obamas-second-term-will-destroy-american-values-be-amazing   Good bye and good luck.

  • @Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex -

“The point of this statement was what?  What is it you’re arguing if you’re not attempting to argue your position?”
i’m just trying to understand your paranoia and illogical judgments.  or, as you put it, i enjoy poking you until you snap.  as someone who is not nearly as wound up about her beliefs, it’s entertaining.
“There’s nothing sacred about them to me.”
it’s not an issue of sacredness, but of basic human dignity and respect.  the insults you throw at him are based on his skin color (or do you think Kennedy and FDR were half-Kenyan Muslims as well?)… ergo, you’re racist.  if you cannot insult someone without dragging race into it, you’re racist.  not to mention, it’s a general sign of weakness when someone cannot disagree with a person without attacking their physicality.  i didn’t need to insult Romney’s pastiness or Mormonism to oppose his views.  i don’t need to sink to your level.
“If you weren’t trying to destroy my way of life then there would be no basis for conflict between us. “
i don’t care if your way of life continues.  but you seek to force me to live the same way you do.  THAT, i have a problem with.  your way of life only pisses me off when i have to deal with it on a daily basis.  i shouldn’t have to live my life by the rules of your personal belief system.
“TW, which race is the most evolved?  If your an evolutionist then each race has to occupy a different rung on the ladder, if you don’t believe that then you’re a creationist and you need to accept Jesus.”
    1.  Christianity isn’t the only religion with a Creation myth.  and yours is, by far, the least entertaining2.  biologists generally agree that races are mostly genetically similar, so “most evolved” comes down to “which skin tone helps you blend in with your environment more?”  for that i’d say: it depends on where you live.  inner city Saint Louis?  you’d better be black.
“Maybe my belief system is wrong”
then why keep preaching it as though you’re 100% sure it’s right?  at best, you’re being deceptive about your confidence in your own beliefs.

  • @flapper_femme_fatale - You haven’t seen me snap yet.  If you wanted to see me snap you should have been here on election night.

Kenyan = Nationality.  Muslim = disgusting fascist ideology.  I never make fun of anyone’s race but I do make fun of their cultures and beliefs.  Also, none of these people are sacred to me, and I’m not a limp wristed manjina with white guilt, so nobody’s race can be used to shield them from criticism or attacks.  There is a difference between being racially insensitive and being racist.  You should learn to be less sensitive.

Go ahead and make fun of Romney, he’s a failure and he’s gone now.  My identity as an individual isn’t bound up with any politician.  Read my latest blog entry if you really want to understand me.  Actually, I don’t care if you want to insult me directly either.

Where did I ever say I cared what you did with yourself?  I don’t.  If you don’t want to deal with me then don’t come here and you won’t ever have to see me again.  Problem solved.  But anyways you strike me as someone who thrives on conflict, so I don’t think you will go away.  You will keep coming back for more and more until one of us is dead.

The Obamacare, the taxes, and the government surveillence all affect me.  So does any plan to regulate the internet, so does any impenging upon the right to bear arms, so does any treaties made with the UN, any executive orders that concentrate more power in Barack Osama’s hands.

Now you’re being silly.  Humans don’t “blend in with the environment.”  It’s only certain types of animals which have natural camoflauge, and typically it’s the female of the species, at least that is the case with birds.  If you believe that the starting point was a bacteria, or dirt, and everything evolved up from that then every difference represents a different level of evolution.  If everyone is truly equal then that doesn’t mesh with your evolutionary paradigm, because it means that you have differences that exist as a product of something other than evolution.

I’m pretty well convinced, but I tend to leave margins of error in all of my debates if you haven’t noticed by now.

  • @The_Final_Acts - You are an idiot. The richest oil reserves on the planet are right next door to the USA. It’s called CANADA. By your logic, the USA will be invading us next.

  •  ”Charter of Rights and Freedoms” sounds like
a grossly inappropriately named document.  What crap.  I hate all that
touchy feely PC bullcrap, which is really just an iron fist of tyranny
in a fuzzy pink glove.  It’s nothing but an excuse to kill free speech
and browbeat white people and Christians at the same time.”

@Ambrosius_Augustus_Rex - Excellent comment, although I doubt you will not be pleased to discover that I am a Holocaust denier. I call it the ‘HoloHoax’. Never happened.

  • @CanuckFascist - Thanks man.  We may have to agree to disagree about Israel and the Jews.  The way I see it is that white people and Jews have no reason to be in opposition to eachother.  The Persians (original Aryans) worked closely with them to the benefit of both peoples, for example.  I will admit that part of my reason for supporting them is religious, but even if I were not religious I would still support Israel because I hate Islam so much.  I support Ethiopia over Somalia and India over Porkistan for that very reason.  The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

BTW, did you see my big long entry I posted?  I know it’s pretty insanely long, but I wanted to thoroughly explain my position on everything.  If you are curious you might consider reading in small increments over an extended period of time.

  • don’t know about the rest but the smoke has cleared time to finish what our brothers in gray started and take our southern states back and bring em back to the confederacy

  • @csacracker - That would be truly awesome.

  • @The_Final_Acts - Almost let this one go.  Sorry, but that has jack all to do with what I said about FEMA.

If you don’t want to hear it from me then listen to one of your own people.  I believe you are familiar with Rachel Maddow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mPZlysCAm0&feature=related

Here is something else about FEMA showing the coffins: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FnZLx8J4oM&feature=related
