Picking on the Troops

It is regarding some troops that had their picture taken in front of what looks like a Nazi SS symbol on a flag. The troops have stated that they thought the symbol stood for Sniper Scouts. But of course there are lots of angry people calling for the troops to be punished.
What I want to know, is why there is a media push to make our troops look bad? Why publish stories that depict our troops in a negative light? In this case it has already been determined that the use of the flag was an innocent mistake, and that the soldiers were not going to be punished. So why publish this?
“First we have Marines peeing on dead bodies and now this,” Weinstein said.
So what? The bodies were already dead, and who cares anyways? I remember hearing that story and not thinking that it was news worthy. I don’t know why the media is always trying to come up with stories to make our troops look bad. If they gave our enemies the same kind of scrutiny or attention that they give our troops, who are protecting us from those savages, then no one could care whether they pissed on some dead bodies or accidentally displayed a Nazi symbol.
Camp Pendleton spokesman, Master Gunnery Sgt. Mark Oliva, said he did not know where the flag came from but it was likely the property of one of the Marines in the photograph.
Or maybe they got it in town. There are white supremacists and Nazi sympathizers in the 3rd world. Especially among the durka durka’s who hate Jews at least as much as Hitler did. And honestly, as bad as Nazism was it’s nothing compared with Islam. The left just likes to bitch about Nazism more because white people were responsible for that, and they are able to use it as a spring-board for launching their cultural Marxism. But in reality, Islam is far more cruel, violent, and psychotic than the Nazis were. It’s just that the Nazis were methodical and organized, while the Muslims are generally stupid. If the Muslims ever became as organized and as advanced as the Nazis were then the world would die. That’s it. I’m not saying that we should forget about Nazism, because there are many lessons that can be learned from that, but I’m really sick of Islam getting a free pass.
I could remind people of 9/11, or I could talk about the Bachi-Baz (boy molesting) culture, the way they spray acid on girl’s faces for the heinous crime of going to school, the child marriages, the persecution of religious and ethnic minorities, the wife beating, or how they make women ride on the trunk of the car, but I won’t. Just for the record, I couldn’t even make it through that video. So I have no sympathy for these demon worshipping child molesting wife beating savages. There is nothing our soldiers could do to them that they don’t deserve. Seriously. They participate in every form of depravity imaginable. There is not a worse group of people in the world. They are worse than the most savage tribes in the jungles of Africa or South America.
That being said, I wish the government and the media would back off our troops and let them do their job. No more of this prosecuting them because they may have hit an Afghan, or pissed on a dead body. Who cares? They deserve it. I’m tired of seeing liberals get all indignant and “outraged” over things like this. It is easy to criticize the job someone else is doing when you aren’t doing it yourself. You liberals are not the ones out fighting to prevent the atrocities I have shown from becoming a daily fact of life in our country. If you are so offended by the job that our soldiers are doing, then go and enlist yourself. Otherwise shut up. I don’t want to hear it. I’m tired of hearing it.

It’s been a few years since I stopped by your Xanga, sir, and I must say that you haven’t lost your edge.
The way you so subtly point out the flaws of society by your sincerely stated, over-the-top acceptance of such absurdities constantly thrown at us is just, well, amaing. The way you expose such things as the mere idea that anyone in this country who went to high school or even has seen a World War II movie could not know what the runic flashes of the SS mean by so totally accepting it … well, brilliant move on your part.
But you top yourself in the wonderful comparison of Nazism and Islam. To describe Muslims as “generally stupid” knowing full well the history of such things as the House of Wisdom in Baghdad and the libraries in Cordoba where Jews, Christians and Muslims studied, exchanged ideas, and generally improved the well-being of humanity is almost Aristophanic in its subtle iconoclasm. And “cruel, violent, and psychotic” is such a well-placed barb as we all know full well which side of the Crusades routinely massacred unarmed Jews on their way to the battlefields of the Levant, and who celebrated the capture of Jerusalem with the slaughter of the inhabitants that didn’t share their religion. Nearly Pythonesque, my friend.
I almost fell off my chair with how you are “really sick of Islam getting a free pass.” Certainly no religion that wiped out the population of two continents with the blessing of their god, or disposed of hundreds of thousands of its own people in wars that ravaged a continent for centuries should ever get a free pass. Because such things as preserving nearly all the Greco-Roman culture and texts we have while Europe was dominated by a single-minded religion that claimed all the answers and busied itself by destroyed much of its own history should never be given any kind of pass at all. Bullseye! How do you do it?
Oh! And the way you handled the desecration of their dead was spot on. Like we are supposed to be the civilized ones in this fight! That’s how we’ll eventually win, by showing the world how little respect we have for even our own morals! Stop, please, you’re killing me here.
And of course you’ve more than earned the right to say “You liberals are not the ones out fighting,” because you’ve served. But that goes without saying.

@jpschalkdust - First of all, I am not particularly impressed by your sarcasm. You are a brainwashed liberal, but all the same, you are welcome to keep reading my page and leaving comments. Maybe you will eventually come around.
You know full well that not everyone knows what all the Nazi symbols are. The average person knows very little of history, especially people who have not yet gone to college.
Second, t. You probably didn’t look at it because, like all Oikophobic leftists you don’t want to know the truth about Islam. I would love to see you try to continue your homosexual propaganda under Sharia law. The methodology of the Crusades was not perfect, but let’s not forget that 1) it did not approach the level of killing and massacre of Islam and 2) they were a direct result of unmitigated Islamic aggression.
What religion would that be smart guy? Speak plainly.
I already know what respect you have for OUR morals. In one of your earlier entries you mentioned the homosexual propaganda you hung in your classroom. You should be ashamed, making a mockery of an office of public service. We have always been better than our enemies, ALWAYS. Even in the past when we were a good deal tougher on them. Given the current enemy, that is not hard to do. Why didn’t you look at my slideshow? I dare you to look at it.
What we need to do is bend them over our knee and give them a spanking they will never forget. All you liberals are doing is preventing our soldiers from doing their job. Putting them on trial for maybe punching our enemies, while trying to extend Miranda rights and civilian trials to our enemies.
I haven’t served, but I’m not criticizing the job they are doing or calling for any of them to be court martialed. I do have friends who have served and they all agree with me completely.
You should keep coming back, you might learn something.
